The goal of body #bodyneutrality is to dial back the enormous significance that has been given to physical appearance by our society. Pushing back against the standards that tell us our beauty is indicative of our worth, because it’s NOT.
Some body neutral statements you might tell yourself include:
• I’m am thankful to my body that I am able to have conversations with people I love
• My body allows me to move in ways that bring me joy
• How I feel has nothing to do with my appearance
• My worth doesn’t depend on my looks. I am worthy for tons of other reasons
